How to Activate the RR-Recap!
There are many different ways to activate our RR. The simplest ones to start are:
- Relaxation Breathing techniques that activate the vagus nerve which travels through our breathing muscle (the diaphragm)
- The Benson Technique, a simple meditation technique where you repeat a word or phrase
- PMR, or Physical neuromuscular relaxation, a type of body-focused meditation where you gradually increase your awareness and then control over body tension.
