How Posture Can Create ‘Stress Breathing’
Most of us spend of good portion of the day in non-optimal body positions that affect our posture and breathing patterns. For example, sitting at a desk.
These breathing patterns can become dysfunctional and lead to our diaphragm not moving as it should and not stimulating that vagus nerve. resulting in ‘stress breathing’ without being consciously aware of if.
Doing even 30 seconds of the healing breath technique during the day can lead to an almost immediate reduction in stress levels by correcting this breathing pattern.
